Nestled in the picturesque town of Llanes, Asturias, Sidrería Restaurante El Puerto stands out as a culinary gem that perfectly captures the essence of Asturian cuisine. Located at C. Marqués de Canillejas, 1, just steps from the harbor, this charming restaurant offers not only delectable food but also breathtaking views of the boats bobbing in the water.

As an Asturian restaurant, El Puerto specializes in traditional dishes that speak volumes about the region's rich culinary heritage. Among its notable offerings on the gluten-free menu are the indulgent Cachopo Sin Gluten at €24.00, where two succulent fillets of meat are filled with cheese and ham and then perfectly fried to a crispy finish. Another must-try is the Fabada Sin Gluten (€16.00), a hearty bean stew that embodies the warmth of home-cooked meals, packed with flavor and prepared with utmost care. For seafood lovers, the Rabas de Calamar Sin Gluten (€19.00) showcases fresh calamari, lightly battered and fried for a delightful crunch. The care taken in preparing each dish is reflected in the flavors that burst from every bite.

The atmosphere at Sidrería Restaurante El Puerto is both inviting and relaxed. Imagine seated on the terrace, gazing over the harbor, as the gentle sea breeze complements the aroma of sumptuous dishes wafting from the kitchen. Customers have raved about their experiences, with Kasem Alejandro Hadid praising the pulpo a la gallega served with the best mashed potatoes, perfectly seasoned with olive oil and pimentón de la Vera, creating a memorable taste combination. The chipirones encebollados were also a highlight, drawing in diners like Heather Shuker, who noted the freshness and impeccable cooking of the monkfish that she couldn't resist sharing. Each dish captures the vibrancy of flavors that makes Asturian cuisine so celebrated.

Feedback from diners reflects the restaurant's commitment to quality and service. Rosario Lahoz Garcia appreciated the fresh seafood and prompt service while enjoying the stunning view of the boats, illustrating how the dining experience goes beyond just the food. The memorable seafood offerings, delectable sides like the cabrales cheese with potatoes highlighted by Roberto Revilla Junco, and the overall enjoyable atmosphere make Sidrería Restaurante El Puerto a place where culinary dreams turn into delightful realities.

In summary, Sidrería Restaurante El Puerto is a destination that promises an unforgettable dining experience, shaped by the freshest ingredients and the breathtaking backdrop of Llanes. Whether you are a local or a traveler exploring the stunning shores of Asturias, this cozy restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentically prepared food and warm hospitality.

We booked a table on the terrace overlooking the harbor, and even though we weren’t very hungry, it was absolutely worth it. We ordered the pulpo a la gallega, which came with the best mashed potatoes I’ve had in a long time, perfectly seasoned with olive oil and pimentón de la Vera. We also tried the chipirones encebollados, the main reason I chose this place, and they did not disappoint. The other dishes we saw looked very generous, and although we couldn’t order any fish this time, I’d definitely come back to try them. Service was excellent and prices were fair.

Highly recommendable! 35€/pax with bass fish (1.2kg per bass, two basses) for 4 people, lovely fresh tomato salad and great cabrales potatoes

The tomato white alveoli were great, the cabrales cheese with potato was great, personally y would linke the cheese with a bit more consistency, the “chiperones” although good taste y prefer Les onions and less moisture. On the hot plate is enough. For the rest good service and was ok overall. Cortado coffee after is enough

Great little place right by the water. We spotted the table next to us sharing the monkfish and immediately copied! It was so fresh and cooked to perfection! The anchovies and tomato were out of this world! Highly recommended.

Nice restaurant right next to the port. Quite a few outdoors seating and we didn’t have to wait at 8pm. Getting the waiters attention is a bit hard when sitting outdoors but otherwise everything is good. The octopus was sensational.

Everything was perfect from the view to the taste to the cost. The host was warm and very accommodating for my vegan girlfriend.

The tuna salad was out of this world. And the lemon ice cream was so good.
